RPT finished up another A&A Corvette Supercharger Kit install, this time on this hot 2003 Z06.  The guys over at RPT said this Z06 is one of the strongest LS6′s in the country putting down 507 RWHP & 446 RWTQ with just heads and cam.  The customer was hungry for more power, so RPT ordered him up one of our supercharger kits.

With the supercharger kit installed, it was time to go to work on the dyno.

The final results after the car was all dialed in…690 RWHP & 580 RWTQ with just 7 PSi of boost! That’s with stock compression and only pump gas.

Boost Performance’s A&A Supercharged C6 Z06 Shop Car

Boost Performance in Amarillo Texas has been a A&A Corvette Dealer for a few years, they’ve installed and tuned quite a few of our Supercharger Kits.  The A&A kit design and performance really caught the attention of  George Hebbel, owner of Boost Performance.  When it came time to add some serious horsepower to Boost Performance’s 2007 Z06 shop car, George chose as he said on his website, “the best supercharger kit available for the C5 and C6 Corvette”.

George decided to leave the LS7 internals stock, bolt on the A&A Supercharge Kit, swap out the cam, and swap out the headers.  Having done a few similar builds the crew over at Boost Performance knew this was the recipe for some impressive street power.

The Z06 went on Boost Performance’s in-house Dyojet for tuning.  With 91 octane in the tank, 12 degrees of timing, and 8.5 PSi out of the Vortech V3 T-Trim this LS7 cranked out 711 RWHP &  639 RWTQ!  Awesome numbers for a stock bottom end LS7, but Boost Performance wasn’t done.  They decided to mix in some 109 unleaded octane in with the 91, and bumped the timing up a few degrees.  The power jumped up to 751 RWHP & 644 RWTQ!

1,250 RWHP – Bret Bradbury’s A&A Supercharged Z06

Bret Bradbury (aka, blownbluez06 on Corvetteforum.com) is one of the most helpful and knowledgeable Corvette enthusiasts you’ll ever meet.  After helping out countless friends and complete strangers with their Corvette builds, Bret decided it was time to take on his own.

Out with the old, in with the new…well most of it.  Bret wanted to start with a freshly built motor, new heads, and new custom cam.  His previous setup included a A&A Supercharger Kit with a Vortech V7 YSi, and A&A fuel system.  Having been really impressed with the performance and reliability of the supercharger kit, and knowing the Vortech YSi supercharger had more boost left in it, Bradbury reinstalled it onto the new motor.  The A&A fuel system would also handle the extra power, so it was kept as well.  Bret had played with nitrous in the past and decided to top the boost off with a 200 shot, just in case 1,000+ RWHP wasn’t enough for him.

Once Bret had finished turning wrenches, the car was loaded onto a trailer and it was off to the dyno for tuning.  The first pull off the trailer was 1,000 RWHP with just 12 degrees of timing in it!  Second pull, 1,057 RWHP.  After a few pulls Bret decided it was time to hit the Nitrous.  With the air fuel ratio still on the rich side it made 1,250 RWHP and 1,076 RWTQ!

The guys over at DRevolution Motorsports couldn’t wait to get started on this A&A Supercharger Kit install.  They had always heard great things about our supercharger kits, and about the impressive power gains from bolting one on.  This 2001 Corvette Z06 was dynoed before the supercharger install, with some bolt-ons and a tune it laid down 372 RWHP & 368 RWTQ.  DRevolution was pretty confident they’d make 550 RWHP easily with the supercharger.  After a few pulls on the dyno and a conservative tune this Vette was cranking out 616 RWHP & 517 RWTQ…that’s a 244 RWHP gain over the bolt-ons and previous tune!  As Johnny from DRevolution put it, “pretty freaking awesome!!!”

Most car guys start off with little bolt-ons here and there to modify their brand new car. ETMC’s customer Fred is not like most car guys. A hardcore enthusiast with a few Corvettes in his stable – including a 1,000 HP A&A Supercharged C5 Vette (built by the ETMC crew), Fred was eager to start tearing up the local tracks with his new 2012 Grand Sport. The car was delivered to ETMC, and one of their stage 6 kits that includes an A&A supercharger kit was selected to ensure this track juggernaut swallows up anything in its path!

RPT knows that when it comes time to add some real bolt-on power to a Corvette, an A&A Supercharger Kit is a MUST.  This relatively stock ’06 LS2 manual 6 speed gained over 200 RWHP by the time RPT was done with it!  That’s a huge gain with just 9 PSi of boost and pump gas!

Lethal Performance Built A&A Supercharged C6 Z06 runs 9.75 @ 157 on 19′s w/STREET TIRES

The crew over at Lethal Performance put together one of their 1000 HP packages for a customer looking to make big boost and HP. An A&A Supercharger Kit with a Vortech V7 YSi was selected to boost the motor to over 1000 crank HP. When the build, dubbed project “Big Red” was finished this monster C6 Z06 put down 900+ WHP on Lethal’s dyno!

The next step was to take the car to the track and see if would break into the 9′s…using the 19″ wheels and Nitto street tires the customer would be rocking on the street! Check out the video and see the results for yourself…

Champion Motors installed one of our supercharger kits on Manny’s 2006 LS2 Corvette with an automatic transmission. The results of adding a A&A Supercharger Kit to a pretty much stock LS2 Corvette with some good Champion Motor’s tuning, 555 RWHP and 481 RWTQ!! That’s thru stock headers and cats too!
